According to National food fermentation Standardization Center, on April 18,2006, Functional Red Yeast Rice industry Standard partly drafted by Wuhan Jiacheng Biotechnology Co.,Ltd was approved validation by experts. The newly drafted standard explicitly formulated the minimul levels of Monacolin K and maximum limits for citrinin. The standard will play an important role on the regulation and develop of the functional red yeast rice and promote exports.
